Erik Jansen guided a group of Finnish birders through the rich landscapes of southeast Kazakhstan and eastern Kyrgyzstan, enjoying the region’s magnificent birds, plants, and butterflies. Visiting during prime migration in May, the group experienced exceptional birding with highlights including Blue-capped Redstart, Red-footed Falcon, and the stunning White-tailed Rubythroat.
