In May, Erik Jansen led a second Finnish group across the scenic landscapes of southeast Kazakhstan and eastern Kyrgyzstan. The journey offered spectacular birding and vibrant spring wildlife, with standout sightings of Asian Desert Warbler, White-browed Tit-Warbler, and the globally threatened Sociable Lapwing—a truly memorable Central Asian adventure.
